Freedom and Responsibility
By tehconi | January 3, 2007
Freedom is only part of the story and half the truth … That is why I recommend that the Statute of Liberty on the East Coast be supplanted by a Statute of Responsibility on the West Coast.

Sorry, I know nothing about the East or West Coast. However, that’s not an obstacle for heartily applaud to your statement. As freedom without responsibility is just the nice words, so the responsibility without freedom means nothing in essence as well.
I live in Lithuania. The distance between our countries is the hugest; however we can recognize ourselves in the problems of each other. And that’s so natural. The freedom defines the spirituality and the Spirit didn’t know any geographical boundaries. The Spirit didn’t admit any limitations- as well as concepts of freedom.
The contradictions between the reality and our dreams just enlighten our earthly path. However, that’s for good. The contradictions guard us from falling asleep in satisfaction with the self deceit.
